Shire Regulars

There are hundreds of people that make up the Shire. A full list can be found here. But of that list not everyone is active in this world. Some have never, and should never reach this world, they do not belong here. Others are just too damaged, too non-functional to cope with the process of fronting. And then there are those that have simply chosen to no longer participate in this process, that want just their lives in Idia. Of those that do come forward, there are some that simply observe, or hide within the presence of another, so they go unnoticed. Others may only turn up once or twice a year. So here we have made a list of those within the Shire we think can be considered regulars. (This list may be subject to change).

Rah`d`Garahd
Tal – male, adult (9 years younger than the body), spouse to BloodsKiss, lives outside of the cave system
Hannah – Female, adult (in her twenties), emotionally shut down, she’s cold and hard.
Sloane – Female, adult, “Corrupter of Innocence” make of that as you wish
Roman – androgynous, and s/he is always cryptic when asked so no idea, adult, has issues with femininity, although that is lessening now s/he is expanding their/our definition of what it means to be female.
Ickado – Female, 16, more a bond than an alter, a Hiroshima survivor that turned up when we were 12, and was adopted in.
Vagant – Male, adult. Injustice collector, one of the people that has a good overview of our lives, but unlike most he still has interest in people. He’s considered odd by most, and often makes people feel uncomfortable.
Naysayer – Male, older adult, always likes being obstructive, will argue just for the sake of it. What he says isn’t always what he believes.
Jenny – Female, adult, tends to be rather harsh and cruel, will find a weak point and go for it, usually in response to a threat, real or imagined.
Michella – Female, adult, has a very rigid view of the world, and our place in it.
Lavant – Male, adult, he’s a sentinel. Was very close with Tal, but there was a falling out when Tal moved out of the caves.

Rah`d`Nahrei

Isabella – Female. Adult. Currently one of the four hosts. Tends to be very intellectual and political, is working with Kate on our Masters. She has very strong views and opinions that she has been exercising in the Masters work, allowing for a place to be outspoken. She can be rather cunning and manipulative, skills learnt growing up.
BloodsKiss – Female, adult. Currently one of the four hosts. Probably more assertive, confident than the average, can appear cold and clinical at times. Name based on childhood trauma, has thought about changing it because of that, but always resorts back to it.
Fallon – Female, 18. She was always pushing at the edges of acceptability, pushing at the rules. This brought a lot of punishments as a child, and then dangerous behaviours as we grew up.
Alora – Female, early 20′s Historian, narrator, documentarist, knowledge tends to be focused on the internal world, and the makeup and functioning of the Shire system, rather than our childhood, abuse history. That knowledge tends to be only in relation to the other areas.
the Tri-Sisters
++++++++++++++++++++

We’re the sisters

Triplets if you will

Where there’s one

there’s us all

We speak, share, interact and think as individuals

But also as one

but we are not as bad as the Twelve

Fuck, no one is as bad as the twelve.

Dani* – Female 4-5 years. Tomboyish, adventurous, would take off on “adventures” as a kid, now tends to rush into things that probably aren’t a good idea.
Hayley – Female, adult. Scottish generational witch, learnt the religion and practises from our Aunt on my father’s side. Would probably have high priestess status if we still lived in Scotland, and if there was anyone else with the same belief structure.

Rah`d`Furei

Billie-Jean – Female 20’s. Best way to describe her is she’s like a spy or special forces commando. Skilled at all that black ops military stuff. She is mostly around now for threat assessment and evasion.
Friday – Female, but very tomboyish, about 11. Was the math wiz growing up, loved maths and science, and excelled at it, until that proved dangerous. She is the most knowledgable about computers, but her fear of people often leaves her very timid.
August – Female, 15. Argumentative, obstructive, will start an argument just for the hell of it. Now days it tends to lean towards bolshy, standing her ground no matter what type of interactions, she doesn’t believe in being nice or tactful.
Walka – Male, adult. Fallen priest, corrupted, defiled and then abandoned.
~Victress – Female, adult. It’s hard to know what to say about Victress, she tends to get a bee in her bonnet about something and need to say it. She tends to get issues she needs to rant about, things that tend to fall under her ‘people are stupid’ category. A lot of our rants are from her.
Alexandra – Female, adult. Very promiscuous, and extremely submissive. But is also very confident and proud of who she is. Through an involvement in online roleplay, she’s become fascinated with fantasy worlds and novels.
Felena – Female, 18, Started ballet lessons at a young age, but due to the families verbal abuse and humiliation gave it up. Loves all things dance, internally very good, mourns the lost opportunity to be a trained dancer
Innes – Female 14. She has some major issues around toilets and people “setting traps”. But she’s also very good at putting on that happy persona when the trauma reactions are going on. She can laugh and joke and be cheerful while all hell breaks loose internally.
Testle – Female, 15. She was the one that first started us incorporating Idian spirituality and Earth witchcraft into our life. Became very close with an Aunt when we visited Scotland, who taught a lot of her pagan practices to us.

Rah`d`Fahrekd

Datyn – Female, 16, In a lot of ways your stereotypical teenager, loves clothes, music, pop culture. Can be rather rebellious
Matthew – Male, 17, very Teenage boyish, worries over his sexuality, complains about his decided lack of male friends
Tryall – Female, 17years. Very social, right from the beginning, when we started to come out as multiple she was very active, and determined to be seen as an individual. Although a typical teenager in many ways, she’s also ardent about multiplicity being seen as a way of being rather than a disorder.
The WoodShed Kids
++++++++++++++++++++
Hari – Female, 15. She’s the parental figure of their little group, unsure if they are siblings or just all hang around each other. They all lived through certain events in our past that created a very intense bond, so that although they may front individually there is usually a strong connection, or consciousness. That is why all five are listed here.
Dem – Male, 10. Has massive anger issues, tries really hard to be well behaved but usually loses his temper pretty quickly. He tends to get obsessively protective of the other kids.
Pin – Female 7 exceptionally quiet, whispers almost to the point of mutism, terrified of loud sounds, or making too much noise.
Billy – Male 8 loves to climb and build stuff. Learnt carpentry from our dad.
Molly – female 5 likes stories, and is always cold
++++++++++++++++++++
Kate – A current host. Female, adult, intellectual bordering on nerdy. Our best cook. Self-deprecating almost to the point of abusive, its hard for her to believe she has any real worth.
Kat – Female, 25ish (age slides a little), Originally created to be Kate’s mirror, she has more confidence, and an ability to talk to other people. While she still does the mirror thing, she actually separated from Kate years ago.
E – Female, adult. She is basically our expert on abuse, mental health and multiplicity. When we realised we weren’t going to get much help E took it on herself to become as fully educated as possible.
Mouse – Female, 6years and 5 months. Very outgoing, social and chatty. Has a twin sister (who is 7) that tends to be with her most of the time, to step in when Mouse is met with rejection or anger, therefore keeping her safe from it.
Mary-Louise – Female 16. Obsessed with reading, especially poetry, developed a love of biographies and history. Rather geeky in the bookworm sense. Quiet and unsure.
Frankie – Female, 18. Carries a lot of the guilt and shame, is terrified of people working out who she is, what she has done. Has interests that are probably considered emo, gothic-pop music, gloomily dark movies, the odder the better.
Pumpkin – Female, 8. Grew up knowing she wasn’t well liked, tried to be as unnoticeable as possible, would read or watch tv in a corner so not to be a bother. Is very conscious of being bothersome even now.
Carrie –Female, 16. Artistically inclined, and fascinated by all and any art. She also believed for a long time, if she tried hard enough, she would be lovable, especially by our mother, so sacrificed a lot in the process.
Piglet – Female, 12. At the centre of most of our food issues. When we’re around food Piglet will be there. At the moment though, she’s still not very communicative with outsiders.
Melanie – Female, 16, moody bitch, thinks most people are fuckwits and doesn’t want anything to do with them, speaks her mind, very untrusting.

Rah`d`Furei

Badger – Female, adult. She gets us places, if we are travelling anywhere she’s around, protective, defensive, focused. Highly skilled navigational ability.
Tree – Female, young adult. Very outgoing, confident and capable. Her sexuality falls within a ritualised bdsm lifestyle. Although we have no problems with her personal choices, and believe she’s quite capable of handling herself, her pursuit of that sort of relationship is curtailed by the fact that Shire could never maintain it. Therefore Tree’s experiences have been lacking and she’s often rather dejected by it all.
GreyTree – Male, adult, currently one of the host. Has a strong honour code, very focused on honour, respect and duty. Has a protective streak of those he develops a connection with. Although he does seem to be shut off a little more than usual at the moment.
Sorrel – Female, about 11. If we were to go by labels and roles, Sorrel would probably fit into the ISH framework, she seems to have a good knowledge of how our system works, and the traumatic experiences and resulting issues. Although that is more intuitive and as she says the ability to listen, than any special skill. She also tends to be rather outspoken when it comes to our wellbeing.
Echo – Female 20’s. She dresses and loves the goth look. Has a love of fantasy and the supernatural, books and movies, and the history and creation of these characters. Was very close with our father, with this shared interest.
Salice – Female, adult Salice, Cricket and Ainsley are sisters. They dealt with a lot of the child pornography aspects of our past. News reports and us trying to get use to being photographed have brought them to the surface, they’ve stuck around because they have started to enjoy other things.
Cricket – Female, 16 Currently really nervous and shy. Tends to let Salice do most of the talking, or spends her time looking after her younger sister. This may change the more she gets used to being around other people, we aren’t sure.
Ainsley – female, 7, extremely interested in bugs, and butterflies, and spiders, all those crawly weird little creatures.
Lesa – Female, 10. We are never quite sure if Lesa, Lisa and Alisa are the same person at different stages in their life, or sisters that experienced certain events. Lesa is the youngest of the three, and has some major issues around food, especially food prepared by others. People worry her as she seems them as a unpredictable threat.
Lisa – female adult. Probably best described as a denier. For a long time she adamantly believed our past was uneventful and untraumatic. She would tell fun stories of her childhood and family. Now she sits in a precarious position, not fully believing her stories anymore, but able to present them as truth when required.
Alisa – Female, 14. One of the runners, those within the Shire that run when feeling overwhelmed or scared, or any intense emotion. The current connection with study and learning has her more active than usual.
Chelsea – Female 13. Often suffers from what is best called religious delusions as a result of the paedophile groups games. But despite that is very cheerful and likes talking to people
Brina – Female, young adult probably late 20’s. Nurturing, protective parental figure to the children within the Shire, she tends to be the one they go to to help them with writing online, or to read to them, or just for hugs. Although not a pushover she is the more gentle.
KC – Female, young adult. During the 80’s KC got very involved in the protest movements in NZ, particularly decriminalisation of homosexuality, stop the tour, and nuclear free. There was a while when she thought of getting into politics but wasn’t confident enough to pursue it. Still has a major interest in activism.

*The children listed here are likely to be out by themselves, but there are often other kids that come with them, groups of kids that are too shy, traumatised or nervous to be alone.
